Smart Homes Infrastructures and Interactions

Embedded systems are specialized computers used in larger systems or machines to control equipments such as automobiles, home appliances, communication, control and office machines. Such pervasivity is particularly evident in immersive realities, i.e., scenarios in which invisible embedded systems need to continuously interact with human users, in order to provide continuous sensed information and to react to service requests from the users themselves. The Smart Homes Infrastructures and Interactions workshop will attract papers that investigate any of the following topics:

Submission

Papers should contain original contributions not published or submitted elsewhere, and with references to related work. Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their papers at the workshop. Papers up to six pages (including figures, tables and references) can be submitted. Papers should follow the IEEE format, which is single-spaced, two columns, 10 pt font. Papers should include a title, the name and affiliation of each author, an abstract of up to 150 words and no more than eight keywords. Please submit papers, in PDF or PS format, to either of the local chairs (mail). All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by a minimum of three program committee members. The accepted papers and the summary report produced by each group will be published in the conference proceedings (to be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press). Best Paper Awards

There will be two best papers award. One for the best paper in general, and one for the best paper on services. The two prizes can go to the same paper and will be awarded only in case of a outstanding papers.
