Online Social networks are one of the latest revolutions that have taken the world by storm; they are so popular nowadays that people want to use them anytime and everywhere through heterogeneous devices in order to facilitate human interaction as well as creating professional relationships. Their use within vehicles has attracted many companies to develop and to integrate basic social features to navigation applications and services. In fact, online social networking can be relevant in a cloud environment and will greatly helps users to enhance the driving experience and the traffic efficiency through the use of services and applications that are user-oriented. Moreover, the coalition of Social Networks, Internet of Things (IoT) and Cognitive Radio Networks (CRNs) will pave the way for an appealing kind of social applications. These applications will be greatly influenced by the social interaction of smart devices to enhance several aspects of everyday life and the behavior of potential users. Furthermore, this coalition will build a social communication network composed of social devices that generate a huge amount of data to be stored in dynamic social cloud infrastructures. Although, social networks have a lot of potential for Internet of things (IoT) and vehicular scenarios, they bring up a number of technical challenges that need to be tackled.
The objective of this workshop is to bring together under one roof researchers, scientists and other like minded people with a common objective of using tomorrow’s technologies for today’s dynamic social networks development. We aim to provide a platform for discussion on basic challenges faced when considering the social angle in a wireless communication environment, to share latest research and thoughts on Internet of Things and vehicular social networks and to uphold the research activities in these areas. To this end we solicit submission of papers describing significant and innovative research contributions that address technical challenges and issues appearing from the combination of social Internet of Things (S-IoT) and vehicular communication systems.


Authors are encouraged to send their original and unpublished work related to dynamic social networks. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- State-of-the-art of Social Internet of Things (S-IoT) and Cognitive Radio Networks: overview and challenges.
- Energy-aware and intelligent S-IoT.
- Event Detection and data aggregation in S-IoT.
- Ad hoc, P2P, on demand, and opportunistic S-IoT and dynamic mobile social networks.
- Routing, mobility management and data dissemination in dynamic S-IoT and vehicular social networks
- LTE D2D and context aware social networks.
- Clouds, service platforms for S-IoT applications, and social networks as a service.
- Multimedia applications for dynamic and vehicular social networks.
- Social networks influence on the design of 4G and 5G wireless networks.
- QoS support in dynamic social networks
- Security, data privacy, reputation, and trust management in dynamic social networks and S-IoT.
- Big data and data mining in dynamic social networking.
- Social network surveillance and monitoring.
- Human computer interaction for smart social mobile applications.
- User-oriented visual languages for social network programming.
- Social relationship graphs of dynamic objects.
- Protocols, services and architectures for seamless dynamic social communications.
- Gaming in dynamic social networks
- Impact of Social Internet of Things (S-IoT) on the design of Vehicular Cognitive Networks.
- Cognitive Radio Applications in Dynamic Social Networks.


Authors are invited to submit high-quality full papers presenting technical issues and describing original and unpublished work.

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and by the IEEE, and will be accessible via IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Authors are required to submit fully formatted papers (PDF), with graphs, images, and other special areas arranged as intended for the final publication. Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE standard conference format (8.5" x 11" - US letter, Two-Column). The final manuscript for publication will be limited to 8 IEEE pages (Six (6) pages are included.
