*****************************************************************************
*Please note: Due to the overlap of the conference dates with other major conferences on computational intelligence and optimization, the organizing committee decided that this conference will *not* go ahead this year. ***************************************************************************** Nature-Inspired Computation becomes hugely popular in recent years and its applications has permeated into almost area of science and engineering, including artificial intelligence, computer science, data mining, engineering optimization, computational intelligence, image processing and telecommunications, etc. This conference intends to review the state-of-the-art developments in the following areas: Topics of Interest (but not limited to): A. Nature-Inspired Computation and Algorithms * Ant Colony Optimization * Artificial Neural Networks * Bat Algorithm * Bee Algorithms * Cuckoo Search * Differential Evolution and Genetic Algorithms * Firefly Algorithm * Flower Pollination Algorithm * Genetic Algorithms * Harmony Search * Particle Swarm Optimization * Hybrid Algorithms * Other Algorithms B. Theory and Analysis: * Mathematical/Theoretical Analysis of Algorithms * Algorithmic Characteristics and Dynamics * Algorithm Complexity * Convergence Analysis * Stability Analysis of Algorithms * Markov Chain and Statistical Techniques * Performance Measures * Comparison Criteria * Stopping Criteria * Behaviour in High Dimensions * Other Theoretical Aspects of Algorithms C. Applications: * Classifications and Clustering * Data Mining and Big Data * Design Optimization in Engineering * Feature Selection * Image Segmentation and Processing * Structural and Shape Optimization * Bio-Inspired Navigation and Optimal Search in Nature * Inverse Problems and Parameter Estimation * Scheduling and Routing * Large-scale applications * Case Studies in Energy, Transport, Telecommunications and All Areas in Engineering and Industry Accepted papers will be published as a book by Springer after the conference. Please prepare your papers using Springer's book chapter template (either LaTex or MS Word). There is no page limit, though any length between 12 to 20 pages would be ideal. Selected papers will be considered for special issues of journals (more details to follow). Interested readers are welcome to submit their original, unpublished contribution via the EasyChair submission system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=nice2015 Key Dates (New Dates): [Due to various requests, the conference has been postponed until 2016.
