ACM/IEEE 18th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems
(MODELS 2015)

September 27 - October 2, 2015. Ottawa, Canada

Models 2015 is the premier conference on systems and software modeling. It
will be held in Ottawa, Canada from September 27 to October 2, 2015. The first
three days (the 'satellite events') will focus on workshops, tutorials and symposia.
The final three days will feature keynotes, various categories of papers, and demonstrations.

NEW! For the first time, MoDELS will accept papers in the IEEE proceedings format


TOPICS OF INTEREST:

MODELS 2015 is seeking workshop proposals, tutorials, papers and demonstrations on
all topics related to models and modeling in software and systems engineering.

Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to:

* Evaluation and comparison of modeling languages, techniques and tools
* Modeling standards from bodies such as OMG, ITU, INCOSE, Open Group
* Syntax and semantics of modeling languages

* Standard languages such as UML, SysML, SDL, GRL, URN
* Eclipse Modeling Framework, Papyrus and other Eclipse projects
* Specific formalisms such as state machines, ERDs, Use Case Maps

* Real-time modeling and modeling in automotive, aerospace and telecommunications domains
* Profiles such as Autosar, Marte
* Modeling practices, experiences and requirements in industry
* Modeling in enterprise architecture

SUBMISSION TYPES:

MODELS 2015 seeks submissions from industrial practitioners of modeling,
academics performing research in modeling, and students.

We invite the following types of submissions

* Foundations Track Papers: Novel research and new ideas related to models
* MDE in Practice Track Papers focusing on experience with modeling in industry
* Modeling Pearls Papers, illustrating good practice in modeling
* Educators Symposium Papers focusing on how to teach topics of interest to the conference
* Workshop papers
* Demonstrations of modeling tools and techniques
* Posters
* Doctoral Symposium papers
* ACM Student Research Competition papers

* Foundations and MDE in Practice Papers:

- Full papers: May 8, 2015
