Introduction
For release in the Advances in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, and High Performance Computing (ASASEHPC) Book Series

The Advances in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, and High Performance Computing (ASASEHPC) Book Series brings together research in the areas of distributed computing, systems and software engineering, high performance computing, and service science. This collection of publications is useful for academics, researchers, and practitioners seeking the latest practices and knowledge in this field.

Cloud Computing has transformed the way many organizations work and offers added value for operation management and service computing. There are reported benefits such as agility, resource consolidation, business opportunities, and green IT. There are cases where organizations can improve on their efficiency, technical performance, and usability in using or adopting Cloud services due to the fusion of mature technologies such as virtualization, web services, information retrieval, large scale data processing, visualization, storage and backup, high performance calculations, and APIs on mobile devices and the Cloud. Thus, this makes an interesting observation to understand what types of services are offered and what their contributions can provide. We are seeking papers to demonstrate proofs-of-concept, design and implementations, successful case studies, and use cases of using or adopting Cloud Computing.

Objective
Our proposed book presents a summary of different successful Cloud Computing deliveries for a variety of organizations. All the Cloud Computing deliveries contain unique techniques to implement Cloud services, describe ways to resolve the challenges in each adoption scenario, and provide reproducible steps for anyone to follow. Additionally, the contributed papers will explain how their Cloud services can work effectively in production and real-time, and present how their services can make contributions to users involved in the use of Cloud services and adoption. All the lessons learned and recommendations will be summed up and disseminated to play an influential role in academia and industry.

Target Audience
The target audience of this book will be composed of professionals and researchers working in the field of Cloud Computing in various disciplines, e.g., computer science, consulting, information technology, information and communication sciences, healthcare, finance, education, natural science, and creative technologies. Moreover, the book will provide insights and support executives concerned with the management of expertise, knowledge, information, and organizational development in different types of Cloud deliveries and case studies.

Recommended Topics
This book welcomes chapters on a wide range of issues related to Cloud Computing, supporting all aspects of services, demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, recommendations, and research outcomes. The covered topics include, but are NOT limited to, the following:

Use Cases
Evaluation and review
Infrastructure as a Service
Platform as a Service
Application as a Service
How businesses and organizations use Cloud
Mobile Cloud
Technical implementations in healthcare, finance, or education
Cloud services for healthcare, finance, or education
Cloud adoption: case studies, frameworks, or models
Simulations and experiments with reproducible steps
Graphical Processing Unit techniques

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before February 5, 2014, a 2-3 page chapter proposal clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Submissions should be made through the link at the bottom of this page; however, submitters to the workshop http://closer.scitevents.org/ESaaSA.aspx can submit their eight-page extended proposal to the editors.

Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by February 15, 2014 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by April 30, 2014. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.
