Győr (Jaurinum in Latin) is situated half way between Budapest and Vienna, at the junction of the rivers Moson-Danube, Rába and Rábca. In the Roman Times there was a significant settlement here called Arrabona. The founder of the modern Hungarian State, King St. Stephen around 1000 A.D. declared it a bishopric and a bailiffric. The monuments of the historical inner city are mainly from the Baroque period. The city has always been a commercial centre at the crossing of important roads, railways and rivers. In the last century it became the second important industrial centre of Hungary (vehicle, machine, textile, food and building industries). Today the city has a population of about 140,000 and, due to its geographical situation, favourable infrastructure and human capital, it is the centre of the most prosperous region in Hungary after Budapest.

Registration:
The conference registration for student authors and visitors is free (accomodation and travel expenses are not covered).

The official language of the conference is English.

For including any paper into the proceedings or post proceedings publications, it is necessary for at least one co-author to be registered until 20 April 2014.
