IWISH 2014- Call for papers!
The International Conference on Innovative Simulation for Healthcare (IWISH 2014) (http://www.msc-les.org/conf/iwish2014 ) Dates and Location September 10-12, 2014 Agora Conference Center, University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France, in cooperation with the I3M 2014 MultiConference Key Dates Extended Abstracts, April 15th 2014 Acceptance Notification, May 15th 2014 Camera Ready Papers, June 15th 2014 Journals Opportunities The best papers will be selected for publication on some journal special issues. Detailed information will be soon announced and will be available on the official conference website. Indexing The IWISH proceedings will be submitted to Thomson ISI, Scopus and Google Scholar indexing. Conference Aim A holistic view of healthcare leads to an interdisciplinary field of research ranging from life-science to management disciplines. The increasing computational power and the tight integration of natural and computational sciences open the doors to new paradigms in life science research. The huge complexity of biological systems let deterministic and deductive methods reach its limitations, thus large scale simulations together with advanced methods of modeling are new tools to get insight into the huge diversity of healthcare. This workshop, part of the I3M Multiconference, aims to bring together scientists from engineering, natural and life sciences to stimulate discussion on new methods and topics in the emerging field of health care. Tracks shall cover the main aspects of health care. It shall not only provide a forum for presentation of novel approaches and methods of advanced simulation for both modeling and analysis but also provide meaningful results and applications. We welcome high-quality, original scientific contributions and will consider them for publication. The International Program Committee will accept two types of camera-ready papers: extended paper (10 pages, 2 columns); regular paper (6 pages, 2 columns). Please refer to the on line authors instruction section.
