Arctic Oil & Gas 2014 Summit

With 19 promising basins in the arctic region most of which remain underexplored and an estimated 44 billion barrels of oil under the melting glaciers of the Arctic ocean, the Arctic region is a challenging environment that is turning into the most appealing new ventures area.

In the most technically and environmentally demanding environment, new business models are developed and geopolitics aside, long term partnerships are formed to encourage exploration and oil and gas infrastructure to enable safe operations throughout the Pan-Arctic Region.

Join us for an event focused on the pan-Arctic region, that will highlight the current exploration in :

• Russia
• USA
• Canada
• Norway
• Greenland
• Finland
• Iceland
• Sweden

A new launch event from our successful Oil & Gas Series Portfolio that will bring together the governmental bodies that regulate the exploration and oil and gas licensing procedures, the major International Oil Companies that either already successfully operate in the region or plan to obtain a license in the next year, the geophysical organizations that have gathered and assessed the seismic data or plan to bid on the first licensing round, the service providers that want to offer their latest cutting edge technologies to accelerate or facilitate the IOCs.

The Arctic Oil & Gas 2014 Summit is here to offer a platform for all the stakeholders to discover the latest news about the exploration in the Pan-Arctic region, to understand the complexities and network with the institutions and the current and future investors within the region. Understand the opportunities and the complexities that enable or hinder the exploration activities and decide on how to invest in the Arctic.

Call for Papers: For experts in the E&P, business development, energy regulations or energy geopolitics in the Arctic, willing to provide insights of the industry developments at the summit, IRN invites you to submit your presentation proposal. A well esteemed faculty of speakers, including governmental officials and senior executives from IOC's and NOC's, is already on board and you can join them by emailing a small bio and a presentation proposal to Xenia Sapanidi at XeniaS@irn-international.com.
