November 4-5, 2013

The PhD School in Philosophy of Padova University is pleased to announce the third workshop on Hegel’s Science of Logic.

Call for Papers
The organizers invite young researchers to submit a proposal for a presentation. Papers should be suitable for a 20 minutes presentation in English, German or Italian.
Please include the following information in your submission:
(1) The paper’s title
(2) Abstract (max 500 words)
(3) Author’s name
(4) CV
(5) Author’s email address
Email a copy of your abstract, as an attachment, in Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), or Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) to hegel.pd@gmail.com
Abstracts must be received by September 30, 2013. Abstracts will be reviewed by a committee. Eight abstracts will be selected for presentation. Notification of acceptance will be made via email by October 7, 2013.
Proposed topics are (but in no way limited to)
- The absoluteness of absolute idea
- Foundationalism and anti-foundationalism at the end of Hegel’s logic
- Absolute idea and the method of Hegel’s logic
- Hegel’s logic between ontology and epistemology
- The freedom of absolute idea
- The end of the logic and the other parts of the system

Two nights' accommodation expenses will be covered by organizers.

La Scuola di Dottorato di ricerca in Filosofia dell’Università degli Studi di Padova ha il piacere di annunciare il terzo workshop sulla Scienza della Logica di Hegel.

Call for Papers
Gli organizzatori invitano giovani ricercatori a inviare una proposta per una presentazione. I paper dovrebbero consistere in una presentazione di 20 minuti in inglese, tedesco o italiano.
Nella proposta di presentazione vanno inclusi:
(1) Titolo del paper
(2) Un abstract (max 500 parole)
(3) Il nome dell’autore
(4) CV
(5) Indirizzo mail dell’autore
Inviare in allegato una copia dell’abstract in formato Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text Format (.rtf), o Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) all’indirizzo hegel.pd@gmail.com
Gli abstract devono essere mandati entro il 30 Settembre 2013. Gli abstract saranno sottoposti al referaggio di una commissione e ne verranno selezionati otto. Le notifiche riguardo all’accettazione verranno inviate via mail entro il 7 Ottobre 2013.
I temi proposti (ma non vincolanti) sono:
- L’assolutezza dell’idea assoluta
- Fondazionalismo e anti-fondazionalismo alla fine della logica hegeliana
- L’idea assoluta e il metodo della logica hegeliana
- La logica hegeliana tra ontologia ed epistemologia
- La libertà dell’idea assoluta
- La fine della logica e le altre parti del sistema
Le spese di pernottamento per due notti saranno rimborsate dagli organizzatori.
