DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 30! Join us in glorious ATLANTIC CITY.

Proposals are welcome on all aspects of popular and American culture. For more information or to submit a proposal, visit http://mapaca.net. Single papers, panels, roundtables, and alternative formats are welcome. Submit a 300-word abstract to one appropriate area by Friday, June 30, 2013.

MAPACA’s membership is comprised of college and university faculty, independent scholars and artists, and graduate and undergraduate students. MAPACA is an inclusive professional organization dedicated to the study of popular and American culture in all their multidisciplinary manifestations. It is a regional division of the Popular Culture and American Culture Association (PCA/ACA). MAPACA hosts an annual conference and publishes the Mid-Atlantic Almanack each fall, and engages in other scholarly and analytical activities year round at http://mapaca.net.
