CALL FOR PAPERS

The International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT'2013) is a forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latest research, result
s, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of information technology. ACIT’2011 will include presentations to contributed papers and state-of-the-art lectures by invited keynote speakers. Tutorials on current issues and special sessions on new trends related to information technology and software industry could be organized. This conference is considered the official scientific conference for the Colleges of Computer and Information Society, stemming from the Association of Arab
Universities. The permanent General Secretariat of ACIT is hosted by Zarqa University, Jordan.

LOCATION

ACIT 2013 will be organized by Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan.
Sudan is located in the north east of Africa with the river Nile as the most dominant feature of its geography. It is the second largest country in Africa and the third in the Arab world. Due to its unique geographical location, Sudan has always been a trading and a cultural bridge between southern, northern and west Africa as well as between Arabia and Africa. Sudan is micro-Africa. Its people originated from many different ethnicities and tribal groups; most notable are Arabs and some African tribes. 96.7% of population are Muslims. The capital of Sudan is Khartoum, which is located on the confluence (Mogran) of Blue Nile and White Niles forming the main Nile.
Sudan gained independence from the Anglo-Egyptian Condominium on January the 1st 1956.
