TAEA 2013 : International Workshop on Theory and Applications of Evolutionary Algorithms
Call For Papers
[Submissions aiming at IEEE CPS publication must follow the new deadline (30 August) strictly. Others may follow the timelines for the domestic track in TAAI 2013 (http://taai2013.nccu.edu.tw).]
Evolutionary Algorithms are global search algorithms that mimic natural evolution such as selection, crossover, and mutation. Their effectiveness has been widely proved on various search and optimization problems. This workshop will focus on the theory and applications of evolutionary algorithms, e.g., genetic algorithms, evolution strategies, genetic programming, particle swarm optimization, ant colony optimization, artificial immune systems, estimation of distribution algorithms, differential evolution, and memetic algorithms.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers to present and exchange ideas, results and experiences in the area of evolutionary computation. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Design of new paradigm of evolutionary algorithms
Runtime and convergence analysis
Empirical or experimental study
TAEA2013 includes both international and domestic tracks. Full paper manuscripts for international track should be in English and for domestic track is in Chinese with IEEE two-column format (max 6 pages). Please indicate [TAEA2013] while submitting via https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=taai2013
All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings. Outstanding papers will be selected and recommended to submit their extensions to JISE journal (SCIE-indexed). The papers of international track will be published by CPS and submitted to IEEE Xplore and IEEE Computer Science Digital Library.
