CALL FOR PAPERS 2008 CONFERENCE ON INFORMATION SECURITY CURRICULUM
DEVELOPMENT (InfoSecCD08)
Dates: September 26- 27, 2008 - Friday - Saturday
Place: Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Georgia.

InfoSecCD is one of the first major forums for the presentation of
research and pedagogical experience on the issues associated with the
development and conduct of Information Security curriculum in higher
education in the Southeast. The mission of the conference is to share
novel instructional methods and techniques, pedagogical research
findings, curriculum models and methods, and to identify new directions
for future research and development work in Information Security
education. The conference will provide both a venue to discuss these
pedagogical issues, and professional development opportunities, through
presentations from industry professionals.

Call for Papers:
InfoSecCD seeks to give academicians, researchers and practitioners a
unique opportunity to share their perspectives with others interested in
the various aspects of Information Security Curriculum Development.
Papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of
information security education are solicited for submission to the 2008
Conference on Information Security Curriculum Development. The primary
focus is on high-quality original unpublished research, case studies,
and implementation experiences. Papers should have practical relevance
to the design, development, implementation and best-practices in
information security education - for the Pedagogy track and for
best-practices in the design, implementation and management of
information security in industry for the Practice Track. Theoretical
papers must make convincing argument for the practical significance of
the results. Theory must be justified by compelling examples
illustrating its application. The primary criterion for appropriateness
is demonstrated practical relevance.

The conference will focus on three tracks: Pedagogy, Practice, and
Student Paper. Note: Work in Progresses can be accepted if substantial
progress and expected completion by conference date is demonstrated.

Paper should be submitted to the conference paper management web site
provided by Microsoft Research. The link will be available shortly from
the conference web site.
