Call for participation - 3D Cardiovascular Imaging: a MICCAI segmentation challenge
-------------------------------------- MICCAI 2012 Challenge Where: Nice, France When: October 1st, 2012 Website & Contact: http://grand-challenge2012.bigr.nl/ --------------------------------------- This workshop is a continuation of the successful MICCAI grand challenge workshops series focusing on evaluating and comparing medical image analysis methods in clinical settings. Topics: ------- The goal of this challenge is to quantitatively evaluate the performance of 3D image analysis algorithms for: • Coronary artery stenoses detection/quantification and lumen segmentation in computed tomography angiography (CTA) images • Right ventricle segmentation in cardiac MRI. Please visit http://grand-challenge2012.bigr.nl/ for information on the challenges. Paper submission: ---------------- Papers will include results obtained on testing data and will be limited to eight pages following the MICCAI submission guidelines. Submission of results of an algorithm submitted to the main conference (or to some other workshops) is allowed, as well as submission of results of already published methodologies. Workshop format: --------------- The workshop is a day long double track workshop that includes (i) an on-site challenge session with unseen testing data and (ii) in-depth oral presentations of selected algorithms. A poster session will accommodate further discussions. Electronic proceedings will be arranged for all of the papers and posters presented at the workshop.
