Call For Papers

The editors of the Journal of Education for Library & Information Science (JELIS) invite you to submit the manuscript of the paper you presented as part of a juried papers session at the recent ALISE conference for consideration for the ALISE Best Conference Paper Award. Up to five papers will be selected from among those submitted to receive this award. Award-winning manuscripts will appear in the upcoming fall 2012 issue of JELIS.

To be eligible, manuscripts must be submitted by March 16, 2012. All manuscripts presented at the conference will be considered in-scope for this special issue. With this one exception, all manuscripts must conform to the manuscript guidelines for research articles available at http://jelis.org/for-authors/manuscript-guidelines/. Please submit your manuscript electronically via the JELIS OJS system at http://jelis.org/ojs. If you have not previously submitted an article, you will need to follow the steps below to register as an author. Also, be sure to select the Best Conference Paper option to ensure that your article gets considered for the special issue. All manuscripts will go through a special two-round review process.

We encourage you to submit for this prestigious award and look forward to receiving many fine papers for publication! While you are in the system, please consider registering as a reviewer.
