6th Workshop on Theory of Randomized Search Heuristics (ThRaSH'2012)

May 2-3, 2012, Villeneuve d'Ascq, France

http://thrash2012.gforge.inria.fr/

Deadline for abstract submission: March 16, 2012
Registration deadline: April 6, 2012

Following the workshops in Wroclaw, Dortmund, Birmingham, Paris, and Copenhagen,
the 6th workshop on Theory of Randomized Search Heuristics (ThRaSH'2012) will
take place in Villeneuve d'Ascq in the north of France on the 2nd and 3rd of May
2012. The purpose of the workshop is to address questions related to the theory
of randomized search heuristics such as evolutionary algorithms, ant colony
optimization, or simulated annealing for both combinatorial and numerical
optimization. The primary focus lies on discussing recent ideas and detecting
challenging topics for future work, rather than on the presentation of final
results.

Researchers working on theoretical aspects of randomized search heuristics are
invited to submit a short abstract (one single page) by email to
"thrash2012@inria.fr". No registration fee will be charged but participants are
asked to register before the workshop.
