META 2027, the 17th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals & Plasmonics, will be held at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on July 13-16, 2027.

PAPER SUBMISSION

Paper submission is now open. Contributed papers must be 2-4 pages; invited contributions must be at least 1 page. Each paper must include an abstract of no more than 50 words and be submitted as a PDF using the official META 2027 template. The paper submitted for review is the paper published; there is no separate camera-ready stage.

Submission deadline: February 12, 2027
Acceptance notifications: from February 19, 2027

Submissions are organized in four research tracks:
1. Metamaterials, Metasurfaces & Structured Waves
2. Plasmonics, Nano-Optics & Light-Matter Interactions
3. Photonic Crystals, Topological & Quantum Photonics
4. Emerging Platforms, Design, Fabrication & Applications

Accepted contributions presented at META 2027 are published in the META Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2429-1390, indexed in Scopus.

SPECIAL SESSIONS

Proposals for special sessions on focused or rapidly developing topics within the scope of META 2027 are welcome. A proposal should contain the session title, a short description of its scientific scope, the organizers, and a preliminary list of prospective speakers.
