The annual AI days is organized by the Swiss Artificial Intelligence Centre for SMEs (CSIA-PME), funded by the Engineering and Architecture domain of the HES-SO. It brings together AI researchers, developers, practitioners, and users interested in Artificial Intelligence in the French-speaking Switzerland.

Although the event is public and open to all, it is primarily intended for leaders and decision makers from SMEs who want to learn how advances in artificial intelligence can support their activities. At the same time, academics, researchers, and students are invited to join the conversation, creating opportunities for dialogue, collaborations, and knowledge exchange between academia and industry.

Following the great success and interest in the previous years, the AI days’27 will take place for three days from the 17th to the 19th of February in Yverdon-les-Bains (VD), Geneva (GE) and Fribourg (FR). The program will include hands-on workshops, tracks and parallel sessions with:

- round-table discussions, workshops, posters, demo sessions, and speed-dating networking session, as well as
- presentations on industrial advances and experiences, successful collaborations between academia and industry, and novel academic and applied research results.

# Submission Categories and Guidelines

Authors can submit a contribution in one of the following categories:

- Scientific papers (long and short contributions, 4 – 8 pages) presenting novel research results. For these submissions, novelty, scientific rigor and methods, as well as conference topic fitting are the primary considerations. Authors of academic papers are expected to present their research result at the conference. Academic contributions will be subject to peer-review, consequently, they will also be published as part of the proceedings including the novel contributions to the area.

- Industrial contributions (1 page + unlimited references). This document should present an innovation or a project related to IA within a company. These presentations won’t make part of the proceedings but will be presented during the conference.

- Workshops (2/4 hours to 1 day workshops, 1 page proposal). This document should present the objective of the workshop, its format, the planned activities and target audience.

- Posters and Demos (2000 characters abstract). We invite poster and interactive demonstration submissions showcasing ongoing research projects, AI systems and prototypes.
