About the Conference

The 12th Istanbul Security Conference, held under the theme "Istanbul Alliance: A Multi-Layered Vision for Peace and Security," approaches security not merely as a military matter but as a multi-layered phenomenon spanning cognitive, technological, ecological, geopolitical, and ethical dimensions. Against a backdrop of resource crises, demographic transformation, technological disruption, and normative uncertainty, the conference opens for discussion a governance model grounded in the balance of power and justice, multi-stakeholder participation, and strategic foresight.

Building on Türkiye and Istanbul's historical, geographical, and diplomatic position, this vision invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share original research.
