Please note: this is a policy and dialogue summit, not a paper-track conference. There is no call for papers and no abstract submission.

The AIFOD Geneva Summit 2026 takes place 12–14 August 2026 in the Assembly Hall of the Palais des Nations, United Nations Office at Geneva, convening delegates from over 150 nations.

Sixteen dialogues across three themed days: Small Enterprises (12 Aug) on AI market concentration and open innovation; Small Nations (13 Aug) on digital sovereignty and AI governance; Small Models and Small Languages (14 Aug) on efficient architectures, edge deployment, evaluation, and multilingual AI for low-resource languages.

For researchers: an Independent Review Board sits daily to assess AI technologies, research proposals and practical solutions submitted to the Summit, and reports its recommendations to the closing plenary. Submissions to the IRB are open: af.net/geneva/irb-sessions/

Attendance is free. Delegate applications close 31 July 2026 at af.net/geneva. Successful applicants complete registration through the UN Indico system.
