9th Special Session on HealthCare Data @IEEE BigData 2026, December 14–17, 2026 | Phoenix, Arizona, USA | Hybrid Conference The 9th Special Session on HealthCare Data will be organized as part of the 14th IEEE International Conference on Big Data (IEEE BigData 2026). This special session aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss recent advances, challenges, and innovative applications in healthcare data analytics, health informatics, and big data technologies for healthcare systems. Healthcare data presents unique challenges and opportunities in the era of big data. As healthcare systems continue to evolve, there is an increasing need for robust techniques, methodologies, and applications for the acquisition, storage, processing, analysis, and optimization of healthcare data. Topics of Interest (including but not limited to) Healthcare Data * Collection, processing, and analysis of healthcare data * Challenges and solutions in health data management * Privacy, protection, and security of personal health data * Electronic Health Records (EHR) and interoperability standards Healthcare Information Systems * Medical imaging systems and analysis techniques * Innovative medical applications and mobile healthcare solutions Pervasive Healthcare Systems and Services * Sensor technologies for healthcare monitoring * Wearable health devices and their integration with data analytics * Information solutions for individuals with disabilities * Process management in health informatics systems Additional Topics * Health Decision Support Systems * E-health applications * Public health information systems and applications Hybrid Conference Format IEEE BigData 2026 will be held in a hybrid format, allowing authors to present their work either onsite or remotely. Submission Guidelines Authors are invited to submit full-length papers (6–10 pages, IEEE two-column format) through the conference submission system. Manuscripts must follow the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript Formatting Guidelines. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the paper (onsite or remotely) for inclusion in the proceedings.
