We invite submissions to the workshop Learning Networks in a Connected World (LNCW 2026), held in conjunction with the International Conference on Military Information Systems and Networks (MISNC 2026).
Learning in organizations and operational environments is shaped by interaction patterns, access to expertise, and trust relationships. In complex socio-technical systems, network-aware approaches can support coordination, decision-making under uncertainty, and sustained learning. This workshop focuses on human-centered perspectives on learning networks, bringing together researchers and practitioners interested in how learning and collaboration networks form, how they relate to engagement and outcomes, and how AI- and network-informed tools can support trust, coordination, and resilience. Topics include (but are not limited to): - Emerging forms of learning networks across educational, organizational, and online environments - Network structures and interaction patterns in collaboration, engagement, and knowledge sharing - AI- and data-driven approaches to supporting learning and coordination in networked systems - Ethical, institutional, governance, and pedagogical challenges of network-aware interventions We welcome: - Full research papers - Early-stage research contributions - Demo and system papers We particularly encourage PhD projects and emerging ideas, especially at the intersection of network science, learning environments, and AI-supported collaboration. Submission deadline: 01/05/2026 More information: https://networkedlearning.ai/events/misnc/ |
