Who are we ?
STTAR is an initiative founded by the chair of this conference, Dr. Claris Harbon in Al Akhawayin University In Ifrane Morocco, and driven by a student-centered pedagogy, offering an opportunity for students, both undergraduates and graduates from all schools, to present their research work to their peers and to the AUI community for comments and feedback in an academic setting outside of the classroom. OBJECTIVES Enhancing Academic Rigor & Knowledge Exchange: Research is key in higher education, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic rigor for students. Interdisciplinary & Global Knowledge: A changing world requires cross-disciplinary collaboration, enriching learning beyond fields and borders. Cross-disciplinary Collaboration & Holistic Learning: Interdisciplinary conferences expose students to diverse perspectives, broadening their understanding. Bridging Undergraduate & Graduate Research: Encourages knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and a platform to showcase research. Topics Participants will present research in any area, field or discipline, such as, but not limited to: Social Sciences Humanities Law Science Computer Science Education Linguistics Medicine Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences Engineering, Technology and Innovation Business Administration Communication and Media Studies Submission Guidelines Interested participants are kindly invited to submit their abstracts for the presentations (between 250-400 words) along with their Curriculum Vitae (CV), and a short bio, before April 15th, 2026, to https://forms.gle/MiSm9gfBrEffaZAy7 (in case of technical issues: SRTT@aui.ma). Early submissions are highly encouraged, and reviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Applications should include: 1.Institutional/organizational affiliation if any, 2.Contact information including email, phone number and WhatsApp, 3.Title of the paper, 4. 250-400 words abstract, and 5.A statement as to the preferred language of presentation: Darija, Arabic, Tamazight, English and French. Upon peer reviewed process, and depending on early submissions, we will notify you of the result of your application by no later than May 1st, 2026. Registration and payment to the conference will begin on May 1st, 2026 for both presenters and participants. Certificates of presentation/attendance will be provided Publications Accepted papers may be published in Registered ISBN proceedings. The conference organizers might invite authors to contribute to post conference publications in special edit editions of international peer reviewed journals. Students (Doctoral candidates, undergraduate and graduate students): Morocco, Africa, the Middle East and South America: 700Dhs* . International Students from North America and Europe: $180USD. Advocates, Community Organizers and Activists: 700Dhs* . Accommodations Participants are free to look for their accommodations. AUI can offer our campus rooms: 1.A Double Room: 150MAD per night/per guest. 2.A Single Room: 300MAD per night. |
