The Spanish Conference on Recommender Systems (SISREC) aims to present new research results, systems, and techniques in the broad field of recommender systems. SISREC brings together major national and international research groups working on recommender systems, along with companies active in e-commerce and other related domains. The first edition, SISREC 2024, was organized within the general framework of the Conference of the Spanish Association of Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA) in A Coruña and was supported by ELIGE-IA, the Spanish Thematic Network on Recommender Systems.
We welcome high-quality research contributions from both Spanish and international authors, covering the broad field of recommender systems. Accepted contributions will be published as part of the CAEPIA 2026 proceedings in a Springer LNAI volume, after a rigorous review process. Alternatively, authors could also choose to submit their contributions to the Local proceedings volume. This edition is organized within the framework of CAEPIA 2026, and the submission process is managed through EasyChair. Topics of interest Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: -Algorithm scalability, performance, and implementations. -Bias, fairness, filter bubbles, and ethics of recommender systems. -Case studies of real-world implementations. -Conversational and LLM-based recommender systems. -Cross-domain recommendation. -Data characteristics and processing challenges underlying recommender systems. -Interfaces for recommender systems. -New aspects of recommender systems evaluation. -Novel approaches to recommendation. -Privacy and security. -Socially and context-aware recommender systems. -User studies of recommendation applications.
