Paper Submission

All submissions must be written in English and conform to the Springer LNCS proceedings format with the following page limits: 15 pages for regular papers including references. Submitted papers will undergo a “double-blind” review process, coordinated by the Program Committee. To ensure anonymity of authorship, authors must ensure that authors’ names, affiliations, funding, and any other identifying information of authorship do not appear on the title page or elsewhere in the paper. The submissions rejected in the 1st round cannot be resubmitted for the 2nd round. Authors must provide the complete and final list of authors at the submission stage. No addition, removal, or change in the order of authors is allowed after submission.
Please use one of the following templates for the LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format: https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines

All paper submissions for WISE 2026 will be via Microsoft CMT (under the “Research Papers” Track): https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/WISE2026

POLICIES

Dual Submission: It is not appropriate to submit papers that are identical (or substantially similar) to versions that have been previously published, accepted for publication, or submitted in parallel to other conferences or journals. Such submissions violate our dual submission policy, and the organizers have the right to reject such submissions, or to remove them from the proceedings.

Changes of Title / Abstract / Authorship: Authors should include a full title for their paper, as well as a complete abstract by the abstract submission deadline. Submission titles should not be modified after the abstract submission deadline, and abstracts should not be modified by more than 50% after the abstract submission deadline. Submissions violating these rules may be deleted after the paper submission deadline without reviewing. The author list at the submission deadline will be considered final, and no changes in authorship will be permitted for accepted papers.

Double-Blind Review: All submitted papers must be anonymous. WISE is following the double-blind peer review principle. That is, the authors do not know who reviews their paper and the PC members do not know who the authors of a given paper. Thus, the submitted document should not include the author information and should not include citations or discussion of related work that would make the authorship apparent.

Reviewing Criteria: Accepted papers must contain significant novel results. Results can be either theoretical or empirical. Results will be judged on the degree to which they have been objectively established and/or their potential for scientific and technological impact. Reproducibility of results and easy availability of code will be taken into account in the decision-making process.

Requirements: All contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period. Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests on the indicated conference topics. Contributions from more applied related fields in industry and commerce are very welcome.
All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors, who must register for the conference and pay the fee. Only personally presented papers can be nominated for the Best Paper competition and considered for publication in an expanded form in special issues of prestigious journals.

Plagiarism and Self-Plagiarism: The authors are requested to avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism in their works. You can find in the Internet numerous guidelines on ethical writing, such as a comprehensive guide prepared by Miguel Roig. In turn, a two-page extract from this guide you can find here. Please note that the members of the Program Committee will give special attention to plagiarism and self-plagiarism while reviewing papers submitted to the conference.
