Co-located with 9th International Conference on Modern Computing, Networking and Applications (MCNA2026)
Based on recent industry reports, the urgency for this symposium is driven by an unprecedented escalation in AI-powered threats and the financial necessity of automated defense. In 2024, the global average cost of a data breach reached $4.88 million, but organizations deploying AI security automation saved an average of $2.22 million per incident, highlighting a critical financial incentive for adoption. The threat landscape has shifted dramatically, with deepfake fraud increasing by 1,740% in North America alone and AI-driven phishing attacks surging by 1,265% since 2022. As the market for AI in cybersecurity is projected to grow from roughly $26 billion to $34 billion by 2025, the gap between attackers weaponizing these tools and defenders securing them is widening, making the collaboration fostered by this symposium essential for protecting the projected $10.5 trillion global cyber economy. We invite the submission of original papers on all topics related to the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: AI-driven Defence Mechanisms AI as an Attack Vector Security of AI Systems Ethical and Policy Considerations Future of Cyber Operations Automated Surveillance and its Cyber Implications AI for Secure Software Development and Testing Shadow AI |
