Scope:

SENSORNETS2026 serves as a leading forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders to share new discoveries, innovations, and applications in the field of sensing and communication systems. Building upon the original foundations of ad hoc sensor networks, the scope has broadened to include the Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, and emerging paradigms that tightly integrate sensing, communication, computing, and control.

The conference welcomes contributions across a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Novel architectures, protocols, and algorithms for wireless sensor networks, IoT, and industrial IoT
  • Energy-efficient sensing, networking, and resource management
  • Edge, fog, and cloud integration for intelligent sensor systems
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning for sensing, inference, and decision-making
  • Security, privacy, and trust management in sensor networks and IoT systems
  • Standardization, interoperability, and large-scale system deployment
  • Innovative applications in smart cities, healthcare, environmental monitoring, transportation, agriculture, and other domains
By addressing both the foundational and emerging aspects of the field, the conference aims to shape the future of sensor networks as pervasive, intelligent, and sustainable infrastructures supporting our increasingly connected world.

SENSORNETS is organized in 3 major tracks:
Internet of Things and Security
Body Networks, Biosognals and Systems
Wireless and Mobile Technologies
