INVITATION
2026 Conference: Friday, March 27, 2026. The Michigan Academy will be hosting a virtual conference via Zoom.

PROCEDURES
• Abstract submission deadline is 1/23/26. Each author can present only one time at the conference.

• Submit only one abstract at www.xcdsystem.com/masal/member

• Presentations are up to 20 minutes each, followed by discussion.

• Section chairs will review abstracts and notify authors of acceptance in February. Expectations for papers and presentations vary by section.

• Proposals for special panels or roundtables are invited.

• Posters displaying graphical materials associated with
research is welcome.

• Undergraduates may present faculty co-authored or sponsored papers (section leaders may require proof that a faculty sponsor reviewed paper/research). Faculty co-authors or sponsors should attend the conference.

No same day registrations will be available this year!

PUBLICATION
Abstracts of papers presented at the conference are published in an issue of the Academy's journal, the Michigan Academician. Full papers may be submitted to the journal at any time. Note: papers do not have to be presented at the conference to be considered for publication.
