Paper Presentation
------------------
Prospective authors should submit PDF versions of their paper. Six pages in standard ICRA format are allowed for each paper, including figures. A maximum of two additional pages is permitted. We also invite authors to submit a video clip to complement the submission.

Papers will be presented in two modes at either interactive sessions or oral sessions. The majority of papers at ICRA 2013 will be presented in interactive sessions. At paper submission, authors will be asked to select one of these two presentations modes. Oral sessions will contain 15 minutes of presentation in parallel sessions. Interactive sessions will present the work similar to poster sessions but on a large screen for each paper and for the full durations of one session. A table will be provided for the computer and small demonstrations.

Tutorials and Workshops
-----------------------
Proposals are sought from those wishing to organize a workshop or a tutorial on topics addressing important and new topics related to the conference theme as well as robotics and automation in general. Like at the main conference, workshop contributions can be presented in two modes: oral presentations and interactive sessions.

Exhibits
--------
An exhibition site will be featured at the venue and will display state-of-the-art products and services in all areas related to the conference theme as well as robotics and automation in general.

Robot Challenges
----------------
The following challenges are planned: Outdoor Challenge (flying, walking and/or driving platform fulfilling exploration and manipulation tasks); Mobile Manipulation Challenge (humanoid assistance robots performing an indoor task, e.g., in a kitchen); Human-Robot Interaction Challenge (different tasks of multimodal interaction, speech, face, gesture and intention recognition). Proposals on other topics are welcome.

Technical Tours
----------------
Several technical tours will be offered during the conference.
