Selected high-quality papers, after revision and extension, will be invited to be published in a special issue of: )) Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS), Springer (IF=3.2) )) Data and Knowledge Engineering, Elsevier (IF=2.7) - Authors of all accepted papers must sign a Springer copyright release form. - Papers will be accepted with the understanding that at least one author registers for the conference and presents her/his paper IN PERSON at the conference. SCOPE ====== DEXA 2025 invites submissions of original research papers as well as experience and survey papers on all topics related to database, information, and knowledge systems including, but not limited to: - Data privacy and security - Cloud data management - Data quality assurance, monitoring, and management - Data governance techniques and architectures - Data integration and interoperability - Big data storage and search - Data as a Service (DaaS) technologies - Data pipeline automation - Data Fabric and Data Mesh - Data modeling - Standard and non-standard databases - Distributed ledger technologies - Real-time data processing - Descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics on standard and big data - Artificial Intelligence (AI) for data management - AI for data engineering - Data engineering for AI Data science techniques - Large Language Models - AI model governance AutoML/AI solutions - Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) - AI powered data analytics - Text analytics - Graph management and analytics - Quantum technologies for data engineering and analytics SUBMISSION GUIDELINES ====================== Authors are required to submit their papers in English. DEXA will accept submissions of both SHORT (up to 6 pages, for research papers only) and FULL papers (up to 15 pages), including references and appendixes. DEXA reserves the right to accept as short papers those papers (originally submitted as full) that represent innovative ideas but that still need further development (this decision will be based on reviews). Any submission that exceeds the allowed length or deviates from formatting requirements will be desk rejected. Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ instructions at: https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings and use the proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word. Notice that LaTeX is STRONGLY recommended. Submission site: https://dexa2025.iiwas.org REVIEW PROCESS ================ Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity. Duplicate submissions are not allowed and will be desk rejected. Authors are expected to agree on the following terms: "I understand that the submission must not overlap substantially with any other paper that I am a co-author of or that is currently submitted elsewhere. Furthermore, previously published papers with any overlap are cited prominently in this submission."
