Call for Book Abstracts/Chapters

Book Series Title: CONTEMPORARY LITERARY STUDIES
Publishing House: maurer.press, Frankfurt/Germany (www.maurer.press)

This new book series welcomes submissions on a broad spectrum of literary topics. The scope of the edited book series includes novels, poetry, theatre plays, biographies and various literary fields. Thus, contributions from additional interdisciplinary and comparative literary disciplines are also encouraged. Book chapters are eligible for submission.

Suggested Research Areas (not mandatory):
• Ecocriticism
• Disability Literature
• Feminism and Gender Studies
• Human-Animal Studies
• Posthumanism and AI Representation in Literature
• Postcolonial Literature
• Utopian Literature
• Dystopian Literature
• Other literary research from any discipline is also welcome.

Submission Guidelines:
• Article Length: Minimum 4,000 words.
• Formatting: Times New Roman font, following APA 7th Edition citation style.
• Languages Accepted: English, German, Turkish, and Azerbaijani.
• Abstract Requirements: Minimum 300 words.

Plagiarism and Similarity Policy:
Articles with a plagiarism/similarity rate exceeding 20% will not be accepted for publication. All submissions will be checked using our Turnitin account. To ensure compliance, authors are strongly encouraged to check their work for similarity prior to submission.

Publication Fee:
Upon acceptance of the full article (not the abstract), authors will be required to pay a 50 Euro publication fee to cover processing and publication costs.

Deadlines:
• Abstract Submission Deadline: February 15, 2025
• Estimated Publication Date: May 2025
