Topics of Interest:
This workshop aims to explore the challenges and opportunities in aligning artificial intelligence (AI) with human values, decision-making processes, and societal norms. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: - Methods and Theory - Theoretical Foundations of AI Alignment - Arguments and Positions on Human-Aligned AI - Modeling Human Decision-Making and Values - AI-Based Decision-Making Models and Methods - Human Decision-Making Analysis and Trust - Metrics for AI Alignment - Applications - Use Cases of AI-Based Decision-Making - Ethics, Risk, and Fairness in AI Decision-Making - Legal, Regulatory, and Policy Considerations for AI-Based Decision-Makers Submission Format / How to Submit: We invite high-quality paper submissions of theoretical and experimental nature on the broad set of topics above. Please submit short papers (at most 4 pages, excluding references) on new research, preliminary results, or summaries of previous work via the main conference EasyChair submission website (Select our Workshop on Human Alignment in AI Decision-Making Systems) . Accepted papers will be presented as posters during the workshop and list on the website (non-archival/without proceedings). In addition, a small number of accepted papers will be selected to be presented as contributed talks. To help ensure correct formatting, please use the IEEE style files for conference proceedings as a template for your submission. These include LaTeX and Word style files, which are available at https://template-selector.ieee.org/secure/templateSelector/publicationType (choose Conferences ) LaTeX | Word). Papers should contain at most four (4) content pages (excluding references). An optional appendix of arbitrary length is allowed and should be put at the end of the paper (after references). Papers will be peer-reviewed in a single blind format, and submissions need-not be anonymized (but authors may choose to submit anonymously).
