The 1st IEEE International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience (IWAIN 2024) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from the fields of artificial intelligence and neuroscience to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities at the intersection of these two rapidly evolving disciplines. This workshop provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering innovative approaches that leverage AI to enhance our understanding of the brain and to develop novel neuro-technologies that aid in tasks such as monitoring, diagnosis or data generation among others.
To demonstrate the potential of the intersection of these two disciplines, IWAIN 2024 will have a special theme on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Nonetheless, we welcome submissions addressing other neurological and psychiatric conditions as well as other joint applications of AI and neuroscience. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers. All submissions must adhere to the IEEE conference format and will be peer-reviewed. The submission can be done via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iwain24) LIST OF TOPICS We invite submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: - AI models and algorithms for neuroscience applications - Machine learning and deep learning in neural data analysis - Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and neuroprosthetics - Neural encoding and decoding - Computational neuroscience - AI-driven neuroimaging techniques - Cognitive neuroscience and AI - Neuroinformatics and data integration - Ethical considerations in AI and neuroscience - Applications of AI in clinical neuroscience COMMITTEES Presidency / Conference Chairs: - Juan C.
