CALL FOR PAPERS
13th International Conference on Photonics, Optics and Laser Technology (PHOTOPTICS) Submission Deadline: October 02, 2024 Endorsed by: The Optical Society In Cooperation with: Photonics21 The Italian Society of Optics and Photonics Sociedade Portuguesa de Materiais Proceedings will be submitted for evaluation for indexation by: SCOPUS Google Scholar The DBLP Computer Science Bibliography Semantic Scholar Engineering Index Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index The event will be of hybrid nature, in the sense that online presentations of accepted papers will be possible for those authors that are unable to travel to the venue. https://photoptics.scitevents.org February 22 - 24, 2025 Porto, Portugal --------- Scope: Optical systems are ubiquitous in modern society, with an ever-increasing number of applications covering medical sciences (vision technologies, surgical instrumentation, medical imaging, drug delivery or cancer photothermal therapies), spatial exploration (telescopes, lenses, spectrometers), telecommunications (fiber optics), information processing (quantum computing), industry (from cutting, welding to precision metrology), military/weaponry technology or optoelectronics, to name but a few examples. Furthermore, laser and optical technology are in general essential to perform applied research in areas such as chemistry and biology, providing fundamental analysis tools. The success of optical systems and technologies in high-end scientific research has also found its way into everyday consumer products such as printers, displays, discs, cameras, and eyeglasses, not to forget that optical fiber is crucial to telecommunications in general and internet in particular. PHOTOPTICS is organized in 3 major tracks: Optics Photonics Lasers Conference Chair(s) Pablo Albella, University of Cantabria, Spain Paulo Ribeiro, LIBPhys, Portugal Program Chair(s) Maria Raposo, LIBPhys, NOVA School of Science and Technology, Portugal Agostino Iadicicco, University of Naples “Parthenope”, Italy Program Committee https://photoptics.scitevents.org/ProgramCommittee.aspx PHOTOPTICS Secretariat photoptics.secretariat@insticc.org Address: Avenida de S.
