CALL FOR PAPERS
16th International Conference on Evolutionary Computation Theory and Applications (ECTA) Submission Deadline: June 03, 2024 In Cooperation with: ACM Special Interest Group on Artificial Intelligence Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence World Federation on Soft Computing International Neural Network Society Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence Proceedings will be submitted for evaluation for indexation by: SCOPUS Google Scholar The DBLP Computer Science Bibliography Semantic Scholar Engineering Index Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index The event will be of hybrid nature, in the sense that online presentations of accepted papers will be possible for those authors that are unable to travel to the venue. https://ecta.scitevents.org November 20 - 22, 2024 Porto, Portugal --------- Scope: Considered a subfield of computational intelligence focused on combinatorial optimisation problems, evolutionary computation is associated with systems that use computational models of evolutionary processes as the key elements in design and implementation, i.e. computational techniques which are based to some degree on the evolution of biological life in the natural world. A number of evolutionary computational models have been proposed, including evolutionary algorithms, genetic algorithms, the evolution strategy, evolutionary programming and swarm intelligence. These techniques form the basis of several disciplines such as artificial life and evolutionary robotics. This conference intends to be a major forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners interested in the study, analysis, design, modeling and implementation of evolvable systems, both theoretically and in a broad range of application fields. ECTA is organized in 1 major tracks: Evolutionary Computation Theory and Applications Conference Chair(s) Joaquim Filipe, Polytechnic Institute of Setubal / INSTICC, Portugal Program Chair(s) Niki van Stein, Leiden University, Netherlands Program Committee https://ecta.scitevents.org/ProgramCommittee.aspx ECTA Secretariat ecta.secretariat@insticc.org Address: Avenida de S. Francisco Xavier, Lote 7 Cv. C, Setubal 2900-616, Portugal Tel:+351 265 520 184 Web: https://ecta.scitevents.org |
