Call For Papers

The forth European Workshop on Maritime Systems Resilience and Security (MARESEC 2023) is dedicated to the research on Resilience, Security, Technology and related Ethical, Legal, and Social Aspects (ELSA) in the context of Maritime Systems, including (Offshore/Onshore) Infrastructures, Navigation and Shipping, Autonomous Systems, etc. The intention of this workshop is to bring together researchers to present new results and ongoing projects as well as to exchange experiences and explore possible collaborations.

The workshop will be held as Hybrid Event in Bremerhaven, Germany, on June 6-7, 2024.

Prospective authors are invited to submit an extended abstract* (English, 1-2 pages, IEEE style), which will be reviewed by the program committee. Selected authors will be then invited for oral presentation and submission of a full paper (4-6 pages), which will go through a further review process, to be published in the workshop proceedings. Please note that the submission of a full paper is not mandatory.
(*Interested authors are invited to submit a full paper instead of an extended abstract.)

High quality papers will be invited, after the Workshop, to submit an extended version to a journal for publication in line with the journal's reviewing policy.
