Call For Papers

The Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice (JHETP) is accepting papers for a special issue on “Modern Challenges in Education.” The last few years have presented unprecedented challenges – the pandemic, political division, rise in inequality, and global conflict – to educators around the world, and these challenges have had a profound impact on education. This special issue aims to highlight the challenges that educators have faced in recent years and the methods that have been implored to overcome these challenges. Below is a list of some – but not all of the topics – that would be appropriate for the special issue.

JHETP is indexed in Scopus, Cabells, Proquest, EBSCO, Google Scholar, Ulrichs, and Bowker.

The special issue on “Modern Challenges in Education” will be an open access issue, and all papers will be widely broadcasted to databases and libraries around the world.

The average time to first decision is 18.6 days, and the average time to publication is 28.2 days. Unless one or more of the authors is a member of the International Society of Educators, all papers will require and $800 open access article processing fee.

The deadline for submission for the special issue is September 30, 2022. All papers can be submitted directly to the editor: jhetp@napbress.com or they can be submitted on the JHETP website.
