Call For Papers

International Conference on Terminology, Language, and Content Resources (LaRC 2011)

This conference will be held on June 10th - 11th in Seoul, South Korea. The conference will provide an informal and engaging environment for discussing cutting-edge and emerging natural language processing and semantic web technologies.
With the emergence of various information systems, there have been many challenges to understand the semantics and contexts of the contents from the systems. While a variety of intelligent methods for mimicking human intelligence have been proposed, we have been still facing many challenges to overcome. The aim of this conference is to foster the state-of-the-art research in the area of terminology and language resources. Also the event is expected to focus on all aspects of natural language processing technologies and to present novel results and solutions to solve the various problems and challenges in the interdisciplinary areas. The target audience of this conference includes academia, researchers, engineers, and professionals working on the relevant topics in natural language processing, machine translation, linked open data and semantic web.

Topics of Interests
This conference invites submissions for conference presentations on any topic related to the use of terminology, language and other content resources to increase content repurposability, including but not limited to the following sub-themes:
interoperability and repurposability of structured content and non-structured content
case studies, best practice and success stories of repurposed content
ontologies for knowledge representation
encoding approaches and schemes
all aspects of translation, localization and interpretation
controlled authoring applied to texts and other applications
enabling content for re-use across eApplications
quality-oriented workflows and workflow management systems
business models, copyright management and certification systems
usability and eAccessibility & eInclusion aspects
new horizons
