CALL FOR PAPERS
===============

EVD and SVD algorithms belong to fundamental methods in computational linear algebra with a strong impact on solving practical problems. They are most frequented in various HPC applications. This Special Session focuses particularly on efficient algorithms for EVD/SVD from the perspective of its design, convergence, and accuracy. Reports on the implementation experience and results for parallel computing platforms are welcome.

The following (and related) items are of interest:

- efficient direct methods for EVD/SVD/NMF decompositions of large matrices
- Jacobi based methods for EVD/SVD, their design and analysis
- application of sequential/parallel EVD/SVD for solving problems arising in scientific
and technical applications
- implementation of EVD/SVD algorithms on parallel CPU/GPU systems.

High-quality original papers are invited into the Special Session. Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific merit and relevance to the Special Session topics. Accepted and presented papers will be included in the proceedings of PPAM 2022 and will be published after the conference by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Papers have not to exceed 12 pages (LNCS style).

Authors should submit papers (as PDF files) through the PPAM 2022 site (track: Special Session on Parallel EVD/SVD and its Application in Matrix Computations). In case of any problems please contact the Special Session organizer.
