I take this opportunity to inform you of a very special event on our Multi conferences calendar that will take place in sunny Chennai in Dec 2011. The 2011 International Conference on Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences & Innovative Medicine [BIOTEC 2011] is a truly international forum on research, development and application of Innovative Medicine, Life Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. BIOTEC'11 aims to facilitate debate on topics from a whopping range of Biomedical related areas of research. This is one field that needs constant innovation and drug discovery to improve the lifespan and health of mankind. This event will enable dynamic networks among academia, industry and government which will initiate collaborative research on a global scale. On behalf of our multinational sponsor Aries Group and our collaborating partners, we are pleased to launch the Call for Papers for BIOTEC 2011. Based on the theme of "Innovative Medicine for the Benefit of Mankind", wherein BIOTEC'11 plans to have a number of special sessions focusing on panel discussions. Tentative topics are as follows:

Extended Abstracts or Full paper(s) must be uploaded by 15, July 2011 and they must be in MS doc or docx format (about 6 pages - single space, font size of 11, two-column, IEEE Style) including references. All reasonable typesetting formats are acceptable (later, the authors of accepted papers will be asked to follow a particular typesetting format to prepare their final papers for publication.) Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. The first page of the paper should include: the title of the paper, name, affiliation, postal address, and email address for each author. The first page should also identify the name of the contact Author, Extended Abstract and a maximum of 5 topical keywords that would best represent the content of the paper. Finally, the conference name (Eg. ASIAN’11) that the paper is being submitted for consideration must be stated on the first page. The length of the final/Camera-Ready papers (if accepted) will be limited to 6 (two-column) IEEE style pages.


Each paper will be triple blind peer-reviewed by experts in the field for originality, significance, clarity, impact, and soundness. In cases of contradictory recommendations, a member of the conference program committee will be charged to make the final decision (accept/reject). All proceedings of ANNAWORLD Congress 2011 will be published in online/print in refereed journals and indexed in major databases (varies from conference to conference – see individual websites of the conferences at www.ariespub.com for more information)

MEMBERS OF PROGRAM COMMITTEES & EDITORS
The program committee and Journal editorial panel is currently being compiled. Many committee members and editors are renowned leaders, scholars, researchers, scientists and practitioners of the highest ranks; many are directors of research labs, members of National Academy of Engineering, fellows of various societies, heads/chairs of departments, program directors of research funding agencies, Deans and provosts as well as the executive members of ANNA World Congress. Program Committee members are expected to have established a strong and documented research track record. Those interested in joining the Program Committee should email ariespub@gmail.com or ariespub@ymail.com with the following information for consideration/evaluation: Name, affiliation and position, complete mailing address, email address, a one-page biography that includes research expertise and the name of the conference (Eg. Asian’11) offering to help with.



PROPOSAL FOR ORGANIZING SESSIONS/WORKSHOPS
Each session will have at least 6 - 8 paper presentations from different authors. The session chairs will be responsible for all aspects of their sessions; including, soliciting papers, reviewing, selecting best papers, comments and constructive criticism etc. The names of session chairs will appear as Associate Editors in the Conference proceedings / Journals and on the cover of the print editions. Proposals to organize sessions should include the following information: name and address (with email) of proposer, his/her biography, title of the session, a 150-word description of the topic of the session, the name of the conference the session is being submitted to for consideration (Eg. ASIAN’11), and a short description on how the session will be advertised (in most cases, session proposers solicit papers from colleagues and researchers whose work is known to the session proposer). 4. Best Paper Award
Best papers will be selected from each discipline and awards will be announced on the 4th December 2011 at the Conference dinner. The winner will receive a citation and International Fellowship Certificate; be able to publish in The Aries Transactions on Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry & Bioinformatics [Biologica] subject to revision of the paper as per the comments of the editorial board of the journal.

5. Referred Proceedings: Online / Print
All peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be included in a special issue in one of the refereed Journals with an ISSN/ISBN and will be published in print/online under the open access publications model at www.ariespub.com, indexed in major databases and periodicals.

6. Presentation of Additional paper
An author can present up to two papers subject to payment of USD $100 for the additional paper which must be presented by the same author.

7. Networking with your international colleagues
This conference is an international forum which will feature your research work and provide an opportunity to meet and network with international colleagues, businesses, entrepreneurs, publishers, etc. Multi-national sponsors and stalls are open for viewing to enable international networking. 8. Session Chair, Reviewing & Scientific Committee Membership
Participants may serve as the Session Chair. If you are interested, please indicate your willingness in the Registration Form. You are also welcome to volunteer to participate as discussants, and members of the review and scientific committees. A certificate will be issued to all Chairs and members acknowledging their role at the conference.

9. Power Point Presentation:
We will provide laptop/terminal and data projector for power point presentations. Just bring your USB stick / Pen-Drive for presentation. Kindly ensure that you have two or more copies of your presentations and files to ensure smooth presentation. To avoid time management issues we would like to request you to kindly load your presentation files 10 minutes before the start of the session.

10. Amazing Food & Beverages

11. Conference accessories

The closing ceremony will hold the best paper and best student paper awards ceremony on the evening on the 4th of December 2011 followed by a conference dinner. This is an optional event. If you are interested, please indicate it while completing the registration form. Conference dinner will feature the best paper awards ceremony, distribution of certificates, talks and much much more. Phase 1: Chennai City Tour: 9 AM to 1 PM (Ongoing)
This tour is an orientation of the largest pillar rocks, Art and Beach resorts in Chennai, India. We begin the tour with a photo stop at the Gandhi Mandapam, the lifeblood of Chennai. Then we will drive through around the ocean town of Mahabalipuram a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the sights like the Shore Temple and Arjuna’s penance. Mahabalipuram, derived from 'Mamallapuram' (Tamil: மாமல்லபுரம்) is a town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It has an average elevation of 12 metres (39 feet). Mahabalipuram was a 7th century port city of the South Indian dynasty of the Pallavas around 60 km south from the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The name Mamallapuram is believed to have been given after the Pallava king Narasimhavarman I, who took on the epithet Maha-malla (great wrestler), as the favorite sport of the Pallavas was wrestling. It has various historic monuments built largely between the 7th and the 9th centuries (Wikipedia, 2011). Phase 2: Dinner & Awards Ceremony: 7.00 - 9.00 PM (4th December 2011)

Enjoy heritage village foods and lively music with some very impressive sights to enjoy. A selection of top papers presented at BIOTEC’11 will be reviewed for publication in a special issue of Transactions on Biomedical Sciences, Bio-Chemistry and Bioinformatics [Biologica] and other internationally peer-reviewed journals. In addition, the best research paper and best student research paper awards will be presented at the conference.
