FTRA ICASE 2011 Call for Papers
We apologize for multiples copies. Please circulate this CFP among your colleagues and students. ******************************************************************************** The 2011 FTRA International Conference on Advanced Software Engineering (FTRA ICASE-11) Busan, Korea, 26-28 May 2011 http://www.ftrai.org/icase2011 ******************************************************************************** Hosted by KITCS Co-Sponsored by FTRA ==================== Introduction ==================== The 2011 International Conference on Advanced Software Engineering (ICASE-11), co-sponsored by FTRA, will be held in Busan, Korea, 26-28 May 2011. The ICASE-11 will be the most comprehensive conference focused on the various aspects of advanced software engineering. The ICASE-11 will provide an opportunity for academic and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of software engineering (SE). In addition, the conference will publish high quality papers which are closely related to the various theories, modeling, and practical applications in SE. Furthermore, we expect that the conference and its publications will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements in this important subject. ==================== Topics ==================== The topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Track A: Requirements Engineering Track A-1) Principles and techniques to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate SW requirements A-2) Methods and tools to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate SW requirements Track B: SW Architecture, Design Track B-1) Design methodologies B-2) Architecture guidelines B-3) Technical descriptions of practical experiences in the field B-4) Reverse engineering in SW design Track C: SW Evolution, Maintenance, and Life Cycle Track C-1) Novel theory and concepts C-2) Experience results of employing a SW evolution tool/platform C-3) SW Maintenance management C-4) SW configuration management Track D: Verification, Testing, and Formal Methods Track D-1) Analysis and simulation techniques and systems D-2) Formal methods, design methods, practice and experience D-3) Testing, verification and validation techniques D-4) Quality assurance Track E: Processes and methodologies E-1) Agile SW development E-2) Extreme Programming E-3) Rapid application development / Rapid prototyping E-4) SW engineering methods and practices E-5) SW engineering tools E-6) SW development environments and tools E-7) Process models (CMM, CMMI/SCAMPI, ISO 15504, etc) E-8) Metamodels (ISO/IEC 24744, SPEM, etc) Track F: Security, Dependability and Performance Track F-1) Security issues in SW F-2) SW dependability and measurement F-3) Performance issues in SW F-4) Service orientation Track G: Emerging Issues in SW Engineering Track G-1) SE issues in mobile and pervasive computing G-2) SE issues in real-time and embedded systems G-3) Advanced visualization techniques and prototyping G-4) SW and knowledge-ware maintenance G-6) other SW engineering issues ==================== Important Dates ==================== Workshop proposals due: Nov. 15, 2010 Full paper due: Dec. 19, 2010 Notification of acceptance: Feb. 1, 2011 Camera-ready paper & early registration due: Feb. 15, 2011 Conference: May 26-28, 2011 =========================== Submissions an Proceedings ============================ Every submitted paper will be carefully reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee.
