The 8th Asian Control Conference (ASCC 2011) will be held on May 15-18, 2011 at the Splendor Hotel, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Kaohsiung is the 2nd largest city and the largest port in Taiwan. The city can be reached by international flights within Asia. ASCC is a major international conference sponsored by Asian Control Association. ASCC 2011 will be an excellent opportunity for automatic control researchers and engineers from academia and industries to exchange their research results and new findings. The theme of ASCC 2011 is “Chances and challenges of emerging control applications.”

Call for Contributed Papers:

Authors are invited to submit regular papers (full paper length: up to 6 proceedings pages). All accepted papers will be presented in oral or interactive formats as assigned by the conference. It is anticipated that approximately 20% of papers in ASCC 2011 will be in interactive sessions. All submissions will be reviewed and those accepted will be included in the conference proceedings. The proceedings of ASCC 2011 will be included in IEEE Xplore®. It will also be indexed by EI compendex. Selected papers of ASCC 2011 will be recommended for possible publication in Asian Journal of Control.
