Description
*****************
The International Journal of Smart Sensor Technologies and Applications (IJSSTA) identifies challenges and solutions for smart sensor technologies and applications in complex environments such as smart cities. Smart Sensors are perceived as a key building block for recent smart cities applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT). IJSSTA deals with the scientific and technological issues of the future sensing technologies for smart real-life applications. The journal welcomes contributions, including case studies, on the advances in smart sensing technologies and algorithms as well as investigations on the economic and regulatory aspects. The journal provides an in-depth analysis both theoretically and analytically of the current advances in processing real-time data for optimal planning and management of a smart city. Moreover, the authors are expected to investigate state-of-art research challenges, results, architecture, application, and other achievements in the field of smart sensor technologies used for smart city planning.

Topics Covered
*****************
Deployment of Smart Sensors
IoT-Enabled Sensors and Technologies
Other Smart Sensors Subfields
Sensors Real-Time Data Processing
Sensors Technologies for Industrial Applications
Smart Homes and Its Applications
Smart Sensor Technologies for Smart City Applications
System, Design, Modeling, and Evaluation for Sensor-Based Applications
The Role of Sensors Based- IoT Applications in the Planning of Future Smart Cities

Mission and Scope
*****************
The International Journal of Smart Sensor Technologies and Applications (IJSSTA) publishes research that exemplifies the usage of smart sensors technologies to resolve monitoring and tracking issues from various application domains within real-life environments. IJSSTA is designed to provide planners and policy analysts, practitioners, academicians, and others using smart sensors technologies useful studies that might support big data analysis and decision-making activities.

Submission
*****************
Prospective authors should note that only original and previously unpublished article manuscripts will be considered. Interested authors must consult the Journal Guidelines for Manuscript Submission at http://www.igi-global.com/journals/guidelines-for-submission.aspx PRIOR to submission. Any further questions may be answered at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/.
