The 11th International Symposium Monitoring of Mediterranean Coastal Areas. Problems and Measurement Techniques (Livorno, Italy 16th-18th June 2026), is organized by Institute of BioEconomy -National Research Council of Italy (IBE-CNR) and SISEF.
The event is addressed every two years to all the scholars of Mediterranean coastal areas.
The Symposium will be structured into the following general topics:
- FLORA AND FAUNA OF COASTAL ECOSYSTEMS: PROTECTION, MANAGEMENT, MONITORING
- MORPHOLOGY AND EVOLUTION OF COASTLINES AND SEABEDS
- COASTAL AND OFFSHORE ENGINEERING
- UNDERWATER AND COASTAL CULTURAL HERITAGE
- GEOGRAPHY, TOURISM AND LANDSCAPE OF THE COASTAL AREAS.
ENHANCEMENT, SAFEGUARDING AND DYNAMICS OF THE TERRITORY

The symposium will also include:
- oral presentations;
- a poster session.

As for the 2024 edition (see https://books.fupress.com/isbn/9791221505566), the publication in full of the accepted works in the Proceedings will be guaranteed, with ISSN, ISBN and DOI codes.
