Call For Papers

CyberSim 2017 will provide an excellent forum for sharing knowledge and results in modeling and simulation of systems in cyberspace, including the cyber ranges on which these models can be simulated, and supporting tools. The conference looks for significant contributions to the area of cyber M&S, cyber ranges, and supporting tools, in theoretical and practical aspects. The aim of this track is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to meet and share cutting-edge developments in the field.
Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting original articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveys, and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in cyber modeling, simulation, metrics, validation, analytics, visualization, tools, techniques, and ranges.
TOPICS
Specific topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Cyber assessment
• Cyber data and datasets
• Cyber range and operations
• Event environment
• Event orchestration
• Instrumentation
• Adversarial/threat modeling
• Defense strategies
• Human factors
• Reverse engineering
• Cyber operations, situational awareness
• Cyber decision making
• Predictive analytics
• Anomaly detection
• Cyber-physical security
• Hardware-in-the-Loop
• Critical Infrastructure
• Cyber-physical systems
• Software and hardware platforms
• Limitations of Cyber M&S
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Papers of max 8 pages can be submitted through the SCS conference management system and must be formatted according to the SCS authors kit (available at http://www.scs.org/summersim). They will be peer reviewed and – if accepted, registered and presented at the conference - submitted to the ACM Digital Library.
