Call For Papers

Nowadays, thousands of e-learning courses are being delivered in an attempt for flexible and stimulating learning experiences. This phenomenon is expected to be escalated the following years due to the continuous increase in demand for lifelong learning. In such a demanding and changing learning environment practitioners and policy makers need proofs about the effectiveness of e-learning courses provision.

Evaluation of effectiveness in e-learning is very essential since it provides valuable feedback to tailor, redesign, improve or accept an e-learning course according the stakeholders’ needs.

There are several qualitative and quantitative methodological approaches proposed last years for the e-learning evaluation which support the measure and weight of attributes like learners’ satisfaction, quality of learning objects, suitability of learning strategies, cost benefits, and so on.

The goal of this book is to present various evaluation approaches as they have been applied in real practice. Criticism about these approaches will be made and lessons learned from their application will be given.

The audience of this book will be the community of researchers / educators / students / educational managers interested in the current trends in the evaluation approaches of e-learning.
