Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
Research on Agents and Multi-Agent Systems has matured during the last decade and many effective applications of this technology are now deployed. PAAMS provides an international forum to present and discuss the latest scientific developments and their effective applications, to assess the impact of the approach, and to facilitate technology transfer. PAAMS started as a local initiative, but has since grown to become the international yearly platform to present, to discuss, and to disseminate the latest developments and the most important outcomes related to real-world applications. Right now, PAAMS is PAAMS is classified as B2 by CAPES Qualis CC-Events and C by CORE Ranking. It provides a unique opportunity to bring multi-disciplinary experts, academics and practitioners together to exchange their experience in the development and deployment of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems. PAAMS intends to bring together researchers and developers from industry and the academic world to report on the latest scientific and technical advances on the application of multi-agent systems, to discuss and debate the major issues, and to showcase the latest systems using agent based technology. It will promote a forum for discussion on how agent-based techniques, methods, and tools help system designers to accomplish the mapping between available agent technology and application needs. Other stakeholders should be rewarded with a better understanding of the potential and challenges of the agent-oriented approach.

Special Sessions that emphasize on multi-disciplinary and transversal aspects, as well as cutting-edge topics are especially encouraged and welcome. At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings. How to apply? Prospective organizers of special sessions should submit proposals indicating: Title of the proposed session. Short biography of the organizer(s), with complete address for contact. List of tentative papers (including titles, authors, and contact information of the corresponding author/s). Special Sessions proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic, the qualifications of the organizers and the authors of the papers proposed in the sessions, and the balance of the topics across the technical areas represented in Artificial Intelligence. Before submitting your proposal, please take a look to the PAAMS 2019 accepted workshops (http://www.paams.net/open-calls/call-for-workshops) and accepted special sessions (http://www.paams.net/open-calls/call-for-special-sessions) to try to prevent content overlap. Should you be interested in submiting such a special session, please contact us (info@paams.net) with a proporsal before 26th October, 2018. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the organizers by 2nd November, 2018. ________________________________________________ DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM The aim of the Doctoral Consortium is to provide a frame where students can present their on going research work and meet other students and researchers, and obtain feedback on future research directions. The Doctoral Consortium is intended for students who have a specific research proposal and some preliminary results, but who are still far from completing their dissertation. All proposals submitted to the Doctoral Consortium will undergo a thorough reviewing process with the aim to provide detailed and constructive feedback. The accepted submissions will be presented at the Doctoral Consortium and published in the conference proceedings. ________________________________________________ SPECIAL ISSUES Authors of selected papers from PAAMS will be invited to submit an extended and improved version to special issue in Special Section published in - Neurocomputing (TENTATIVE) (JCR 2016 Neurocomputing: 3,317) - ADCAIJ (ISSN: 2255-2863, indexed in DOAJ, ProQuest, Scholar, WorldCat, Dialnet, Sherpa ROMEO, Dulcinea, UlrichWeb, Emerging Sources Citation Index of Thomson Reuters, BASE y Academic Journals Database). - Sensors (JCR 2016 Neurocomputing: 2,475) - Electronics (JCR 2017 Electronics. 2.110) - The research that receives an award for best paper on the topic of Data Fusion, will be sent to Information Fusion (ISSN: 1566-2535, JCR 2017: 6.639) and submitted for a quick review. - Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Systems Journal (SJR 2017: 0.62, Q2). ________________________________________________ SPONSORS IBM, Indra ________________________________________________ CONTACT info@paams.net |
