Call For Papers

Thought Forum presents an opportunity for undergraduate students to think philosophically in a community with their peers. Submissions from all areas of philosophy are welcome, with preference given to generalist (rather than specialist) topics. Submitters must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a post-secondary institution.

Papers should be presentable in fifteen minutes (maximum) and should not exceed eight double-spaced pages (approximately 2,000 words). Submissions must be prepared for anonymous reviewing: All identifying information must be removed.

Please submit your paper in its entirety to philosophy@viu.ca as a PDF file attachment. In the body of your email, specify the title (exactly as it appears on the paper) and include a brief abstract of no more than 100 words. Provide also your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and academic affiliation. In the subject line, specify "Submission for Thought Forum Conference."
