Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
This BigNet'17 workshop aims to provide a forum for presenting the most recent advances in big network analytics. The program of this workshop will focus the attention on presenting and discussing the state-of-the-art, open problems, challenges and latest models, techniques and algorithms in the field of big-network analysis. We expect novel research work that addresses various challenges of large-scale network analysis. In particular, this workshop aims to bring together both researchers and practitioners from different communities, such as network science, graph mining, computational social science, Web mining, machine learning, etc. In this context, topics of interest include but are not limited to:
§ Novel algorithms for large-scale network analysis; § Computational models / frameworks for mining big graphs; § Deep and representation learning for networks; § Data integration from multiple big networks; § Mining big heterogeneous and multiplex networks; § Link prediction and social tie in big networks; § Community detection in big networks; § Influence maximization in big networks; § Clustering and ranking methods for big networks; § Social influence analysis in networks; § Diffusion models for information or disease diffusion; § Graph evolution and network dynamics; § Subgraph (triangle, motif, etc.) count in large graphs; § Suspicious behavior and anomaly detection; § Recommendations in large-scale networked data; § Visualization for big network data; § Novel big-network problems, theories, and applications. The BigNet @ WWW 2007 committee will select papers of the highest quality to receive the BigNet 2017 Best Paper Award sponsored by AMiner.org. The Winners will receive a certificate together with a cash honorarium. Selected high-quality papers will be invited to submit extended version to a prestigious journal, such as ACM or IEEE Transactions. Important Dates § Submission Deadline: Jan. 24, 2017 § Notification Date: Feb. 7, 2017 § Camera-Ready Submission: Feb. 14, 2017 § All deadlines are at 11:59PM Alofi Time Submission Guidelines This workshop accepts both full-paper (up to 9 pages) and poster-paper submissions (up to 2 pages), which present new and original work. Submissions should be written in English and contain author names, affiliations, and email addresses. Submitted papers should be in PDF and conform to the WWW 2017 main conference submission format: the ACM SIG Proceedings template with a font size no smaller than 9pt (http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template).
