2008 IEEE International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering (IEEE NLP-KE'08) Oct. 19-22, 2008 -- Beijing, China http://caai.cn:8086/nlpke08/index.html Due to the great needs of economic globalization and the rapid advancement of information technology, Natural Language Processing based on Knowledge Engineering has become one of the most attractive focuses in research. The extraordinary success of the previous conferences, 2003, 2005 and 2007 International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering, NLP-KE'03-Beijing, NLP-KE'05-Wuhan and NLP-KE'07-Beijing have clearly proved it. The 2008 IEEE International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering, IEEE NLP-KE'08, will be held on Oct.19-22, 2008, in Beijing, China. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers reporting original and previously unpublished work. Papers are to be submitted electronically, as PDF or WORD files. The required format for the paper is in IEEE conference format which can be found in IEEE website or download from the conference website. Only the full papers received before the deadline will be considered for review. The length of a paper is limited to 8 pages and extra pages will be charged. Most papers in the past proceedings have been indexed by EI. In addition, about 30% of accepted papers will be recommended for publication in International Journal of Innovative Computing, Information and Control (indexed by SCI). And, about 45% of accepted papers will be selected for publication in EI journals.
